Comic Final Progress Report 2006:
Did They Accomplish Their Comedy Goals?

Success: 1. Get on stage at least 200 times.

I'm sure I was on stage over 200 times last year.  I
did seven spots in nine days in Los Angeles at the
end of December and I plan to go back in a few
months.

In progress: 2. Memorize an hour of material so
that I can perform for an hour without thinking of
it as six 10-minute segments.

Not quite, but I probably have 45 minutes of  
material memorized.

In progress: 4. Take the show I’m putting together, Ivy League Comedy to a major NYC
club and have it added as a monthly show; attract national press and possibly launch a
tour performing at the eight Ivy League schools and other cities.

We've brought the show to the Penn Club (twice) and other venues in other cities.  
Received a major write-up of the show in the
Philadelphia Inquirer. And we're working to
bring the show to more cities.

Success: 5. Be noticeably better at the end of 2006 than I am at the end of 2005.

I'm told this is true and it looks and feels that way to me too.
