Comedian Arnez J credits D.L. Hughley as a mentor because he showed him the “business of side of comedy,” he tells the Marco Island Sun Times. “That’s what has allowed me to have longevity in this business. He might not even know that, but yeah, his advice has meant more to me than he would ever know.”
