Sandler, Apatow to Perform Live for Upcoming Stand-Up Comedy Movie

Adam Sandler, Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Patton Oswalt and Aziz Ansari will perform live on A Night of Funny People, a one-time show that will be filmed for the Universal Pictures upcoming movie, Funny People written, produced and directed by Apatow. Also starring in the movie are Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jason Schwartzman, RZA and Aubrey Plaza.
Apatow will host, while the comedians will perform as their characters in the film. A Night of Funny People will be filmed January 13, 2009 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Proceeds will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and 826LA.
