Gossip & Sightings: Cell Phones Disrupt Comedy Central Tapings

Gossip & Rumblings…We hear that the tapings for the new urban stand-up comedy show picked up by Comedy Central did not go very well as some comics who attended the shows reported that the audiences were disruptive, using their cell phones during the tapings. The shows were filmed in front of a live audience in Los Angeles this past Wednesday and Thursday at the El Rey Theater.

READER’S CONTEST: Tell us your favorite comedian and enter for a chance to win two (2) free tickets to see the one-woman show, Fat Bitch! starring Erica Watson on Thursday, February 25 at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City.

The winner will be notified by email by Wednesday afternoon, and will need to pick up their free tickets at the box office by 6:30pm on Thursday. (A $15 food/drink minimum is required).
