Founded in 2005 by a comedian and created for aspiring and professional comedians, STAGE TIME is a purpose-driven publication with a strong focus on comedy advocacy and education. Our objective is to empower and educate through informative interviews, career advice articles, thought-provoking commentary, and provide media support for talented comedians.

Interview and Review Requests

I am a comedian and would like to be featured in the magazine. How do I send a query?

The best way to reach us is by email. Send a query introducing yourself and copy bio and/or resume in the body of the email. Be sure to include links to your website or MySpace page and video clips. Please familiarize yourself with the magazine and tell us why you would be a great fit. Email: tips@stagetimemag.com.

How do I submit my CD/DVD or book for review?

Writer Submissions

I would like to contribute. How do I submit a story idea?

We are accepting profiles, reviews, blogs and essays about working in the comedy business. You can email your proposed subject and explain why the story is ideal for the magazine. Be sure to introduce yourself and tell us about your comedy background.

Note: Please familiarize yourself with the magazine and read the current and back issues before pitching a story idea. Avoid pitching story ideas that have already been covered in the magazine (i.e. Last Comic Standing auditions and the N-Word) unless you have a fresh slant on the topic.

Do you pay for articles?

Not at this time. However, we do offer contributors a writer’s bio, free ad or links and stage time (7-15 minute spot on our comedy shows.)
