Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival Sells Out Stand-Up Comedy Shows

The Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival is enjoying success before it kicks off February 19 in Traverse City, MI. Hosted by Michael Moore and Jeff Garlin, the festival sold out every stand-up show at the State Theatre and City Opera House in one day. Roseanne Barr’s show sold out in 11 minutes! Stand-up comedians Mike Birbiglia, Whitney Cummings, Mike Toomey and JB Smoove, who has added a second show, will perform along with Garlin and Barr. The festival will also screen the documentary, Joan Rivers – A Piece of Work, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month. The film’s co-director director Ricki Stern will be present for an audience Q&A.
The Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival will take place February 19-21.
